Zorro of Paramount+ is only the latest television production to want to rediscover the myth of the character of the same name created in 1919 by Johnston McCulley, typically portrayed with an all-black costume that includes a cape, a cordobés sombrero and a mask that covers the upper half of his face. Prime Video has recently launched the Spanish series in some territories (not in Italy). Zorro, with the former star of Elite Miguel Bernardeau in the main role. Disney+, on the other hand, is working on a remake of the cult series from the late 1950s with the star of NCIS Wilmer Valderrama. It's not all. The news of the development on The CW dates back to a couple of years ago an adaptation that would like to transform the heroic masked vigilante into a woman. The latter project is in the hands of the established Texan director and producer Robert Rodriguez (Sin City).
