Kara Killmer leaves Chicago Fire. The twelfth season of procedural by NBC will be the last time Killmer takes part in Chicago Fire as a permanent presence of the cast. It is currently unclear when his exit is expected, but what seems certain is that Brett will be present for the entire first part of season 12.
Killmer debuted in the third season of Chicago Fire in 2014, and to date she has appeared in 193 episodes of the series.
This is the second major exit for the franchise Of One Chicago. Last month, confirmation emerged that Tracy Spiridakos, the interpreter of Hailey Upton, will leave the series after season 11.

The actress has not yet expressed herself regarding her exit from the scene, although a recent post of hers would seem to indirectly refer to the news of her farewell to the series.
In recent days Kara Killmer has published a series of photos portraying her at the beginning of her experience with Chicago Fire, writing in the caption: “These are the very first photos I took, or was tagged in, when I arrived in Chicago. Climbing onto the Squad 1 basket was my first exposure to CFD, some of the best firefighters in the country! The view from my first apartment was absolutely beautiful and it was the beginning of a love affair with the beautiful city of Chicago!”

In the season 11 finale, Matt returned to Chicago to ask for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage. This looks like it storyline which will lead to leaving Chicago, being the same narrative device used for April and Ethan’s farewells – and Will and Natalie’s – in Chicago Med.
