Florence will host Suraj Sharma, protagonist of Life of Pi, at the next edition of the River Indian Film Festival next December. The complete program presented.
The new edition of a now historic event dedicated to Indian cinema and hosted in Florence for twenty-three editions has been presented. Sharma, after being chosen by director Ang Lee from over 3,000 young actors auditioning for the role of Pi, went on to star in many other blockbusters including the acclaimed black comedy Happy Death Day and the sequel Happy Death Day 2U by Christopher Landon, from the Disney biopic Million Dollar Arm for Craig Gillespienext to Jon Hamm and Alan Arkin and in the most recent The wedding season romantic comedy directed by Tom Dey currently on Netflix, as well as participating in independent projects including The Illegal del regista Danish Renzu.
