Scorsese and commercials
Martin Scorsese defined directing a commercial as a very intense process. The director of Killers of the Flower Moon, his latest film with a very long duration, explained why the creation of a one-minute commercial is even more challenging than that of a film. “Thinking about telling a story in 60 seconds, no matter how long you’ve been making films and how long you’ve been trying to tell stories, is a real workout. It is probably the hardest thing to do” Scorsese said behind the scenes of the commercial.
Killers of the Flower Moon is in Italian cinemas from 19 October, while Wonka, the prequel film to The Chocolate Factory starring Timothée Chalamet, will be released in cinemas on 14 December.
