Here we go again: the feud between Martin Scorsese and Marvel continues, and this time the dig comes from the co-director of Avengers: Endgame.

The famous director Martin Scorseserecently in theaters with Killers of the Flower Moon, occasionally publishes some videos on TikTok thanks to the help of his daughter Francesca. In the latest video, published a few days ago, the filmmaker promotes his new “actor”: his dog, named Oscar.

A few hours after the video was published, Joe Russo (co-director with his brother Anthony of films such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier e Avengers: Endgame) responded to Scorsese by launching an ironic dig in memory of his comments against comic films and celebrating the success of Marvel films at the box office. “His name is Oscar… How cute… Ok, let’s go Box Office!”Russo says in the response video.

Kevin Feige responded to Martin Scorsese and to his sentences about Marvel films when, on Empire, the Oscar-winning director defined the films with Captain America and companions of “rides in theme parks”.
