Rian Johnson has revealed some details of the work on Knives Out 3, the third chapter of the franchise starring Daniel Craig.

Knives Out 3 has been in development for some time and Rian Johnson has now revealed itself to be returned to work about the new film starring Daniel Craig.
The writers’ strike, which prevented him from working on the project for a long time, has in fact ended and the filmmaker has updated his fans.

Rian Johnson, interviewed by The Wraphe explained, speaking about Knives out 3: “It’s taking shape. I, obviously, couldn’t work during the strike and now that it’s over I’m totally immersing myself in the project“.
The director then added: “I have the premise, I have the setting, I have in mind what the movie should be in my head. It’s simply a matter of writing it down“.

Murder Dinner, in 2019, was a great success. Daniel Craig played the part of detective Benoit Blanc, who had to locate Harlan Trombey’s killer.
The sequel Glass Onion arrived on Netflix in 2022 and saw the detective dealing with another mystery. The sequel’s cast included Janelle Monáe, Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, Jessica Henwick, and Madelyn Cline.
