The Apple TV+ lineup includes the heartwarming Apple Original special ‘The Velveteen Bunny,’ new episodes of ‘The Adventures of Snoopy,’ and more.

To celebrate the Christmas holidays, Apple TV+ announced festive programming for kids and families with the debut of the heartwarming Apple Original special The Velveteen Bunnybased on the beloved children’s classic written by Margery Williams, launching November 22, plus all-new holiday-themed episodes of top-rated series like The Adventures of Snoopy, Frog and Toad and The Island of Shapesreturning December 1, and a special New Year’s Eve episode of “Your Sago Mini Friends” debuting December 22.

Additionally, favorite Peanuts holiday specials, from Mendelson/Melendez Productions and Peanuts Worldwide, will be available free to non-subscribers for a limited time; between these It’s the great pumpkin, Charlie Brownavailable from Saturday 21 October to Sunday 22 October; Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving, available from Saturday 18 November to Sunday 19 November; And Charlie Brown’s Christmas available from Saturday 16 December to Sunday 17 December. For subscribers, however, these specials are available now and every day.

  • It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown – Free streaming from Saturday 21st to Sunday 22nd October
    Join the Peanuts gang on a timeless adventure as Charlie Brown prepares for a party, Snoopy sets his sights on the Red Baron, and Linus patiently awaits the miracle of a pumpkin.

  • Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving – Free streaming Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 November To celebrate 50 years of this Peanuts classic, Peppermint Patty invites everyone to Charlie Brown’s for Thanksgiving, even if he goes to visit his grandmother. Snoopy decides to cook his version of Thanksgiving dinner with the help of his friends.

  • The Velveteen Bunny – Available November 22 Based on the children’s classic by Margery Williams, “The Velveteen Bunny” celebrates the magic of unconditional love. When seven-year-old William receives a new favorite toy for Christmas, he finds a friend for life and discovers a world of magic.

  • Frog and Toad (Christmas special) – Available from December 1st In “Christmas Eve“, Frog and Toad are looking forward to spending the winter holidays together, but a last-minute errand in town throws Rana off track, leaving Toad to wonder if his best friend will make it home in time. In the original Apple TV+ series based on Arnold Lobel’s beloved book series, the two protagonists are nothing alike; Frog likes new adventures, while Toad likes the comforts of home. However, despite their differences, Frog and Toad are always there for each other, as best friends should be.

  • The Island of Shapes (Christmas Special) – Available from December 1st
    The island of shapesthe acclaimed stop motion series for kids and families based on the bestselling Shapes picture book trilogy by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen, returns December 1st with an all-new holiday special titled “The Winter Blues“. The cold season leaves Square sad, so Circle and Triangle try to cheer him up by organizing a new party: The Night of the Yeti.

  • Charlie Brown’s Christmas – Free streaming Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December In this much-loved Peanuts special, Charlie Brown, disappointed by Christmas consumerism, Charlie Brown becomes the director of the gang’s Christmas play. Will he be able to convince his friends that acting is better than dancing, find the “perfect” tree and discover the true meaning of Christmas?
