An arrest has been made in Las Vegas in connection with the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.
Tupac Shakurthe famous rapper, was killed in 1996 but today, more than twenty years later, a arrest in connection with his murder.
The accused is Duane “Keefe D” Davis, a gang member who will not be able to get out on bail by order of Judge Jerry Wiese.
According to District Attorney Marc DiGiacomo, Davis shot Tupac Shakur in a deadly plot fueled by revenge against the artist, Death Row Records founder Suge Knight, and the label.
Two months ago the Las Vegas police carried out searches in the Henderson, Nevada area with the aim of finding objects linked to the murder.

Davis, on several occasions, had spoken openly about his involvement in the shooting that killed Shakur at just 25 years old, declaring that he had been aboard the Cadillac from which the fatal shots had come.
