George Clooney has no intention of selling his splendid home on Lake Como: ‘Villa Oleandra for sale? It is not true’.
George Clooney he is not selling his villa on Lake Como at all. During a recent interview, the actor denied the rumor that he would put it up for sale Villa Oleandra and, later, a representative of the star also confirmed that the house was not put up for sale.
“The first time I heard about it was when Page Six published the news. Everyone has talked about it but it’s absolutely not true,” the actor said through his spokesperson, as revealed by People magazine.
Lake Como is a place very dear to George who, over the years, has hosted many famous friends in his wonderful villa, visited for the first time in 2004 with the cast of Ocean’s Twelve. Once purchased, many stars came to visit George on the shores of the lake: from Jennifer Aniston and Emily Blunt to Bill Murray and Matt Damon.
In 2021, George Clooney played a vital role in helping the region when it was hit by countless landslides caused by heavy rains. At the time the star said: “It’s much worse than I thought. I talked to the mayor – there will be a lot of work, it will take millions of dollars, but this city is strong. He will react and come back better than before. It’s a very resilient city.”
