The new call for participation in the second edition of the Unindustria Film Enterprise Award is now underway

By 31 January 2024 it is possible to present the works which must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

The new tender that will allow companies to participate in the second edition of the Film Enterprise Award: the selected works will be judged by a jury made up of personalities from the world of cinema and the protagonists of the country’s industry. The launch of the 2024 call for participation comes after the success of Film Impresa at Venice International Film Festivalin which a Special Award was awarded to Japanese director Ryusuke Hamaguchi, winner of the Silver Lion – Grand Jury Prize for the film “Evil Does Not Exist”.

The works in competition, lasting no more than 30 minutes and with the preferential title of unpublished film, must be inspired by competence and courage, tradition and innovation, the ability to tell and share the experience and dream of the company: all elements that distinguish the work of those who design, create and animate it today. The works may adopt experimentation with audiovisual language, traditional and digital animation, direct testimony and fiction. The aim is to show how cinema, through the multiplicity of forms, genres and languages, can represent stories, places and worlds linked to work, industry and its transformations, with the aim of bringing the public closer to these themes and allow those who produce audiovisuals, dedicated to or inspired by the topic, to reach a wider audience and to see the research, quality and value of the films recognised.

The call for participation for the 2024 edition also includes something new: the inclusion in its selection of audiovisual films with cultural, civic and socially useful awareness and information objectives, created by non-profit organizations that promote activities of general interest. The works must be received without delay by 31 January 2024 in a specific section of the website www.filmimpresa.it.

The finalist works will be screened during the scheduled final event from 9 to 11 April 2024 in Rome at the Casa del Cinema, during which prizes will be awarded to the best corporate films in the Narrative, Documentary and Innovative Image & Sound Areas. There will also be a Lifetime Achievement Award for a personality who, during their career, has been able to describe, explore or interpret the world of work and business; a Special Prize for creativity for the company that has been able to stand out for investment, creativity and commitment in the thematic areas of Film Impresa.
