In previous seasons of the series Netflix, Charmaine has always maintained that her pregnancy is the result of her on-and-off relationship with Jack (Martin Henderson). But in the fourth cycle of episodes, after a serious health problem, the hairdresser confesses that she lied and that the twins are not – in reality – Jack’s children.
The mystery of the father’s identity continues into season 5, with Charmaine refusing to reveal the name, claiming that the man in question is not fit to be a father. But in the season’s final moments, drug trafficker and General Calvin, left for dead after a boat explosion, though his body was never found, emerges from the darkness. Charmaine is about to get into the car as the man approaches, walking with a cane, and tells her that he wants to meet her boyfriends.
There are still two more episodes of season 5 (both special Christmas episodes) set to air on November 30, so maybe we’ll get more information. In any case, this situation will certainly complicate things. Calvin is generally a person linked to crime, he also has a hostile relationship with Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack and played a major role in dragging Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth) in bad situations.
