Virgin River: Season 5 Official Trailer Teases New Challenges For Mel And Jack And A Huge Threat For All

The first part of the new season will be available to stream on Netflix in September.

The small town at the center of the hit series of Netflix Virgin River will face the most terrifying threat of all in the upcoming fifth season. As shows the official trailer broadcast by the streaming service pending the release of the new episodes on September 7, the fire will engulf a piece of this delightful world surrounded by greenery that Melinda has allowed us to know with her courageous decisions, returning destruction and dust. A tragedy that unfortunately we know all too well… But, as Mayor Hope promises, “We will rise from our ashes”, because “this is the strength of Virgin River”.

Virgin River: The plot of season 5

12 episodes long, with the first ten available from September and the remaining two, effectively a long Christmas special, scheduled for November 30, the fifth season of Virgin River will feature startling new relationships, a shocking breakup, a difficult court process, a heartbreaking farewell, and the aforementioned fire that will threaten the city. Some relationships will mend while others will fall apart. Motherhood issues will push Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) to make an important decision about her future at the clinic, as her pregnancy unexpectedly triggers an emotional connection to her past.

Meanwhile, Jack (Martin Henderson) will be looking to further prove himself to Mel by finally engaging in some long overdue confrontations with his own demons and, of course, Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley). And while Doc and Hope’s respective impediments (Tim Matheson e Annette O’Toole) will end up questioning their identities, doctor and mayor will have to find comfort in their community, in their new, young family and in each other.
