La star di Stranger Things Noah Schnapp a few months ago he decided to come out and declare his homosexuality. Interviewed by Variety, the young actor said he took the last step towards this decision while traveling to Boston with his family, while accompanying his twin sister Chloe to college.

Schnapp posted a video on TikTok and since then the messages have been pouring into his phone:“I didn’t want to sit there and nervously wait to see what people would say. I just wanted to put that aside and have faith in who I am, and know that I don’t have to worry about what people think anymore.”.

The importance of playing Will weighed on the decision of fare coming out:“Once I fully accepted the fact that Will was gay, it was just an exponential speed towards accepting it for myself. I would be in a completely different place if I didn’t have Will to play and embrace and help me accept myself. I think that if I’d never played that character I’d probably still be undeclared”.

Noah Schnapp will return to play Will Byers in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things alongside the historic set mates Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Sadie Sink ( Max).
