The production of a new Disney live action is now official, this time concerning Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Since the publication of the first images, however, the controversies have started to be more and more numerous. The journalist Megyn Kellyfor example, commented on the photo posted on the internet and especially attacked Peter Dinklage, actor who became famous for playing Tyrion Lannister in Games of Thronesstating: “Last year (Dinklage) objected to this ‘fucking retrograde story’ ed that’s when Disney announced they were replacing the dwarfs. So great job, Peter! You made money, you became the most famous dwarf in America and then you screwed up the available roles for six other dwarves who wanted to work and get paid just like you always have“
The live action of snow-white has already led to numerous controversies
Another controversy that has spread in recent days concerns the choice of a Latin actress who will play the role of the protagonist, Snow White. Rachel Zegler herself had the opportunity to speak on the matter and said: “I just want to say that it’s not 1937 anymore. She won’t be saved by the prince and she doesn’t dream of true love. She dreams of becoming the leader she knows she could be and the leader her late father told her she could be if she was fearless, just, courageous and sincere.“.
