Margot Robbie told how she can cry on command in front of the camera.
Anyone who has seen Babylon, the latest film directed by Damien Chazelle, will perfectly remember a scene in which Margot Robbie’s character, Nellie LaRoy, cries on command while filming a scene. The actress’s skill in these specific situations in front of the camera has not gone unnoticed in other films in which she has acted and during an interview with CBS she explained that having acted in soap operas in Australia helped her to ‘train’.
“I think it’s a muscle. I could tell a director ‘Do you want it on the left eye or the right eye? And tell me the line you want it to fall on.’ Honestly, it seems so stupid and unoriginal, but I just think something sad” said the actress.
Margot Robbie conquered the audience with the interpretation of Barbie in the homonymous film directed by Greta Gerwig. The famous Mattel doll lives in Barbieland with all the other Barbies and all the other Kens but one day she discovers that she is not perfect and she is forced to move to the real world to find that lost happiness.
