The events told in the new chapter of the Marvel series
The new chapter of the Secret Invasion story shows Gavrik (Kingsley Ben-Adir) starting to plan new attacks against humans.
Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) hopes he can handle the situation, but is unaware of some details of the organization’s plan, such as the attempt to create a Skrull super-soldier.
Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) and Fury must then join forces to stop a British submarine from attacking a plane carrying United Nations delegates. To help them is Gi’ah (Emilia Clarke) who, however, by acting she reveals that she is the traitor in Gavrik’s ranks. The leader of the organization waits for her and then shoots her. Gi’ah is shown on the ground as she reverts to her original form, seemingly confirming her character’s death.
In the trailer for the series, however, there are scenes not yet broadcast in which the character appears, a situation that has fans speculate that she has become a super-Skrull, thus managing to heal her wounds, or is not actually dead.

What happened to Rhodes?
The third installment also seems to confirm that Rhodes (Don Cheadle) is actually a Skrull, as may have been revealed by the fact that he called Fury “Nick”, a name that is never used. In the episode Priscilla, the wife of the protagonist entrusted to Jackson, appears to be part of Gavrik’s group and is shown calling Rhodey, apparently confirming her replacement. Fans are therefore wondering when the swap happened, speculating that it happened after the events shown in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
