1) Groundhog Day (1993)
Groundhog Day is a 1993 film directed by Harold Ramis and starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. The plot revolves around Phil Connors (Bill Murray), a cynical and arrogant meteorologist who finds himself trapped in a time loop, forced to relive the same day over and over again. Phil wakes up each morning in the small town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to discover he is trapped in the previous day, with no awareness of the passage of time. No matter what he does, the day repeats itself in exactly the same way, with the same people and the same events. Initially, Phil takes advantage of this situation in a way selfish and cynicaltrying to take advantage of circumstances and manipulate the people around him.
There is clearly no shortage of romance.
