The new episodes of the teen drama based on the novels by Jenny Han streaming on Prime Video from July 14th.
A girl. Two boys. A house by the sea. And Taylor Swift plays in the background. “Nothing is better than summer” believes the teaser trailer of season 2 of the teen drama by Prime Video Summer in your eyes. Still, the images, more powerful than any words, seem to tell us that best friends Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah will not be exactly like this.
Season 2 of Summer in Your Eyes
Streaming from July 14 with a new episode every Friday (three the first week), the second season of Summer in your eyesbased on the second novel in the trilogy by Jenny Han The Summer I Turned Prettycontinues the story of 16-year-old Belly (played by Lola Tung) and his love triangle with the very different Conrad brothers (Christopher Briney) e Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), with whom he spends every summer at their home in Cousins Beach. We’d seen Belly get close to the debonair Jeremiah, but in the Season 1 finale, she kissed the brooding Conrad.
The trailer shows that Belly and Conrad have started making eye candy in the sunlight. And while Jeremiah initially seems comfortable with their relationship, subsequent frames indicate that his feelings for Belly haven’t dried up. Also, as you recall, last time a high wave of shock and grief had swept over them all with the discovery of Susannah’s illness (Rachel Blanchard), the mother of the two boys. As Conrad and Jeremiah fight again over Belly, Susannah’s condition worsens, and an unexpected visitor threatens the future of their beloved home, Belly must keep the gang together and decide once and for all who her heart beats for.
