The hopes relating to the possibility of seeing other seasons of Perry Mason have officially extinguished: HBO has in fact decided to close the narration of the TV series, not confirming her for a third season.
“We are extremely grateful for the outstanding work of Matthew Rhys and the Perry Mason cast and crew in their reimagining of such a treasured and legendary franchise”the network said in a statement. “While we won’t be moving forward with another season of the show, we are thrilled to continue working with the brilliant creatives at Team Downey on future projects.”.
Based on the famous character featured in numerous novels and short stories written by Erle Stanley Gardnerthe show is set in 1930s Los Angeles during the Great Depression.
Perry Mason is available to stream on NOW.
