Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney’s father has ‘turned off the TV and walked away’ after seeing the graphic scenes featured in the hit series.

“Yeah, the thing is, I didn’t prepare my dad like… at all“, joked Sweeney during the latest episode of Sunday Today with Willie Geist. “I mean, how do you start a conversation about something like that? Also, when I talk to my dad it’s usually not about work…we talk about father-daughter topics.”
The 25-year-old actress revealed that her father chose to watch the series without telling her along with her paternal grandfather: “My father and grandfather literally turned off the TV and walked away“. The mother, however, knew what to expect, having visited her daughter on the set more than once: “She knew the story, I had often told her about it… my father, on the other hand, knew nothing.”
