Sarah Snook announces she has become a mother. The protagonist of Succession, the Hbo cult broadcast starting in 2018 for four seasons and ending last Monday, told his 300,000 followers on Instagram about the beginning of his new life adventure.
The 35-year-old Australian actress, face of the legendary Shiv Roy in the series created by Jesse Armstrong, has published a post on her Instagram profile in which she can be seen holding a baby (or baby girl) in her arms while they watch the series finale of Succession on television . In recent months, Snook had confirmed her pregnancy, included in the script for the fourth season, posing with her baby bump at the premiere of the fourth season of Succession.
Sarah Snook is a regular couple with Dave Lawson, an Australian comedian. The two were friends for six years before starting dating in 2020, during the global pandemic. Lawson and Snook tied the knot in 2021, and are now parents. The couple did not specify either the gender or the name of the child or future baby. Below is the post published on Instagram:

It’s hard to express what this series has meant to me. The places I’ve gone, the immense talents I’ve been able to work with… it breaks my heart to know that it’s all over. But my heart had to be so full of all the memories, good times, challenges and triumphs, to be able to break completely…so that makes me thankful.
To have been lucky enough to be on this crazy adventure of a show will be a career highlight that will no doubt be hard to top. I am very, very proud and humbled by everyone’s hard work, season after season: we all set the bar for each other, then surpassed and excelled it, in every area.
The friendships, the scripts, the locations, the jokes, the early mornings, the last minute changes, all the ups and downs: I’m going to miss it all. The people on this show are a talented bunch and I’m proud to have worked alongside them, but they’re the people I’m going to miss the most.
I just watched the last episode of the last season of something that changed my life. And now my life has changed again. Thanks for all the love and support.
