Dwayne Johnson, with a post on Twitter, announced that another Fast & Furious spinoff film with star Hobbs will be made.
The saga of Fast & Furious will have a new spinoff film with stars Dwayne Johnson in the role of Luke Hobbs.
The actor unveiled the news on social media confirming his return to the high-adrenaline-charged universe that has already reached its tenth chapter.
Dwayne Johnson, with a message on Twitter, explained: “Luke Hobbs will return to the Fast and Furious franchise. Your reactions around the world to Hobbs’ return to Fast X have surprised us. The next film in the saga in which you will see the legendary lawman will be the film dedicated to Hobbs which will be used as a new chapter that lays the foundation for Fast X: Part II“.
The actor also spoke about his relationship with Vin Diesel declaring: “Last summer Vin and I put the past behind us. We will lead with brotherhood and determination, and we will always care for the saga, the characters and the fans we love. I’ve built my career on the mindset ‘The audience comes first and will always be my guiding star“.
Johnson concluded: “Congratulations to my Fast & Furious family and Universal Studios on the success of Fast X“.

According to some rumors from Deadline, Dwayne Johnson could also appear in the next chapter of the saga which is currently under development.
The new film starring Hobbs will be written by Chris Morgan.
The production team will include HJohnson, Dany and Hiram Garcia, Vin Diesel and Samantha Vincent of One Race Films, in association with Chris Morgan Productions, Roth/Kirschenbaum Films and Original Film.
