On the one hand a legendary former wrestling champion who turned to acting: John Cena. On the other, the living legend of martial arts cinema, the immense Jackie Chan.
The two are both voice actors in the original version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, the animated film that will debut in Italian cinemas on August 30th, but they also shot their first film together in the flesh. The film, which is expected to stream soon in the US, was written by Arash Amel (Grace in Monaco, A Private War) and directed by Scott Waugh former author of titles such as Need for Speed, The last descent and the imminent The Mercenaries 4.
The plot sees Cena e Chan as two ex-Special Forces soldiers they must protect a group of civilians along Baghdad’s so-called “highway of death” to get to the safe area of the Green Zone.
