Warner Bros. has shared on the official Twitter account of The Nun 2 some still photos of the sequel to the Nun, a successful 2018 horror linked to the saga of The Conjuring.
The Nun 2 does not have an Italian release date yet, but fans of the horror saga of The Conjuring they wait anxiously for him, ready to let themselves be terrorized once again by the demonic nun of The Nun. However, we can assume that the frightening sequel will not arrive too long after its debut in US cinemas, scheduled for 8 September. However, today’s news concerns something else, namely the first photos of the film, which were released online a few hours ago by the film’s Twitter account. Needless to say, they’re pretty creepy
The Nun 2: a quick review
Released in 2018 and directed by Corin Hardy, The Nun – The Calling of Evil it grossed more than 365 million dollars worldwide, against a budget of only 22. It therefore seemed normal, given the positive reaction of critics and audiences, who loved the performances of the actors, the atmospheres and the jump scares , green light the sequel. The Nun 2 takes place five years after the events of the first film. Taissa Farmiga resumes the role of Suor Irene Palmer e Bonnie Aarons back to being the demon Valak aka the evil nun. They complete the cast Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, Katelyn Rose Downey e Jonas Bloquet. Directed by Michael Chaveswhile the screenplay bears the signature of Akela Cooper, Ian Goldberg e Richard Naing. James Wan is a producer and we know that we will learn new things about the evil nun. This time we are not in Romania but in France in 1956. At the beginning of the film a priest is found dead and the ancient evil is once again rampant. Alone Suor Irene Palmer will have a chance to defeat him.
The first images of The Nun 2
And we come to the first photos of The Nun 2, which are courtesy of Warner Bros. Two show us Taissa Farmiga aka Sister Irene. In the first (which is the photo in the article) the nun looks very worried and in fact she is praying, while in the second she is holding a torch and looking at another nun. The third photo portrays Valak alias the bad nun, who has an air not at all reassuring. At this point we just have to wait for the trailer of the film
