In recent weeks, the cancellation of some programming of The CW schedule has been announced, including the spin-off starring John Diggle Justice U.
The actor of the Arrowverse David Ramsey commented on the lack of development of the TV series, in which Diggle/Spartan would have trained a new generation of heroes:
“The CW has decided not to order any of its shows currently in development. And Justice U was among them. Would that have been great? Obviously. I think Diggle still has a lot to say, with or without the Lantern ring. There were some things in the works, but I’m not free to talk about them yet because they belong to Warner Bros. and I’m not sure what they’re going to do with them. I know what The CW has decided, but not what Warner Bros will do.”.
However Ramsey don’t lose hope:
“But there’s still Superman & Lois, whose future The CW has yet to announce. A version of John Diggle exists in that dimension. We’ll see what happens there”.
The show follows Diggle – after years of fighting alongside masked heroes – who decides to train five young metahumans who attend a prestigious university, while learning how to become future heroes.
