After two years of absence, The Wheel of Time is finally back: Prime Video has announced that the second season will debut on September 1st. The platform also shared some unedited images of new and old threats that await the protagonists, divided in various parts of the world.

Based on the fantasy novel saga by Robert Jordanthe TV series follows Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski), a farm boy, who discovers he is the Dragon Reborn, a dangerous figure destined to shock the world. An army of powerful priestesses tries in every way to protect him from the Dark One but they have to deal with Rand’s power, ever greater and more dangerous.
An epic battle against the Dark One took place at the end of the first chapter, in a showdown involving Rand and Moraine (Rosamund Pike). In the new episodes a new battle is approaching: evil has not disappeared from the world.
In the cast will also be present Daniel Henney, Zoe Robins, Madeleine Madden, Marcus Rutherford, Donal Finn e Coveney wax. While the new entries are Maja Simonsen, Ragnar Ragnar, Jay Duffy e Five Songs.
The Wheel of Time is written and produced by Rafe Judkinswhich announced the making of a third season:
“I am so excited that we will be doing a third season! The Shadow Rising has always been my favorite book, so to be able to bring it to television and introduce new audiences to the stories that made me fall in love with these books is such an honor”.
