Jimmy Tong is the chauffeur of billionaire Clark Devlin. Sent to Devlin’s house to collect his belongings following an accident that forces him to the hospital, Tong tries on a tuxedo from his employer and discovers that it gives extraordinary powers. This discovery plunges Tong into a world of international intrigue and espionage.

The tuxedo arrived in Italian theaters for the first time on April 30, 2003. The shooting of the film took place from September 10, 2001 to January 1, 2002 in Canada.
The film also features a cameo from James Brown as himself.
While filming a scene, Jackie Chan injured his neck and was forced to undergo surgery. Despite this, the actor returned to the set just a few days after the surgery.
The tuxedo was received by critics in the following way: on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes the film has obtained an average score of 21% out of 100%, on Metacritic it has instead obtained a vote of 30 out of 100 while on Imdb the audience has it voted 5.4 out of 10
