citadel diana is the first local spin-off with which Amazon intends to expand the franchise global of Citadel. The series shot in Italian and in the Italian language, starring Matilda De Angelis, was confirmed together with the second local project of the citadel-verse, or the Indian spin-off developed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK (The Family Man).
When does Citadel Diana come out
The teaser launched at the end of the season finale anticipates that the next series of franchise Of Citadel will debut in 2024 on Amazon Prime Video worldwide. Shooting began last autumn between Rome and Milan, and ended between March and April of this year.

Still very little has been revealed about the account of Citadel: Diana. What we know for sure is that the spin-off is set in Italy and will tell a story set in citadel-verse, that is, in the narrative world introduced by the mother series. Judging by the title of the series, the protagonist will be Diana, which should be the character played by Matilda De Angelis.
The Italian spin-off will bring to the screen a story that will be independent at the same time, i.e. it will not necessarily require viewing the mother series to be understood and followed, but at the same time it will expand the boundaries of Mason’s (Richard Madden) story. Diana (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) and all the Citadel epic.
With this franchise, the Russo brothers and Amazon aim to tell a single, great story within which many local chapters converge. Also on the way are the Indian series starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and there are also talks of a Mexican and a French spin-off.

It is not yet clear how many episodes will make up the Italian spin-off TV series of Citadel, although we suspect there will be six like for the first season of the parent series.
Directed by Arnaldo Catinari (Subura). The Italian series is written by Alessandro Fabbri – who also holds the role of head writer -, Ilaria Bernardini, Laura Colella, Gianluca Bernardini, and Giordana Mari. Gina Gardini (Gomorrah, Suburra, ZeroZeroZero) is the showrunner and produces the series together with Riccardo Tozzi, Marco Chimenz, and Giovanni Stabilini for Cattleya
The series is co-produced by Riccardo Tozzi, Marco Chimenz, Giovanni Stabilini, Gina Gardini of Cattleya, and Amazon Studios, with Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Ostot, Scott Nemes, and David Weil (Hunters) of AGBO to oversee the production of the Italian Original and all series in the Citadel universe internationally. Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg are executive producers for Midnight Radio of the Italian Original and all series in the Citadel universe internationally.
