Chicago Fire 12, what happened to Severide and where did he go
Kelly Severide will be back in Chicago Fire 12? This is what the audience of the TV series hopes for, but at the moment there are no certainties. Earlier this year, news was confirmed that Taylor Kinney had walked away from the set of the eleventh season of Chicago Fire to take care of some personal matters. Severide’s last appearance in Chicago Fire at the moment it dates back to episode 14 of the eleventh season, titled “Run Like Hell”.
A spokesman for the NBC network specified last January that Taylor Kinney has not left permanently Chicago Fire, and that his return would take place at a later time. Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) learns at the Academy that Severide is no longer in Alabama. His superiors were so impressed by his talent that they decided to involve him in a very large investigation currently underway. Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), however, is unaware of these developments and is convinced that her husband is still in Alabama. When Cruz lets it slip while they’re at Molly’s, Stella is understandably shocked.
