If the title The Miracle Club there is somehow new it is because we had already talked about this film some time ago, saying that we were waiting for it with joy because it featured three certainly talented actresses who seemed perfect together: Maggie Smith, Kathy Bates e Laura Linney. From The Miracle Club today we have the trailer and the release date, scheduled for July 14, 2023. First, however, the film will go to the Tribeca Film Festival in June, so if you live in New York, you can see it a little earlier.
The plot of The Miracle Club
The Miracle Club is set and was filmed in Ireland. We are in 1967 and the story revolves around three women who have always dreamed of going to Lourdes in the hope of witnessing a miracle. When they happen to win a trip to the French city, they leave with enthusiasm. The unexpected arrival of the daughter of one of the three friends complicates things considerably, because it brings back forgotten conflicts and traumas. It’s also in the cast Agnes O’Casey. The directing, however, is by Thaddeus O’Sullivanto which we owe, for example, the film with Kevin Spacey A perfect criminal.
