In the past few hours Marvel Studios have shared a new preview of the impending Secret Invasion, in which the former director of SHIELD prepares for war by confronting James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) and responding to the concerns of MI6 agent Sonya Falsworth (Olivia Colman).
Created by Kyle Bradstreetthe TV series is set five years later Avengers: Endgamedove Nick (Samuel L. Jackson) learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of Skrulls and is reunited with his allies Everett Ross (Martin Freeman), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and the Skrull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn). Together they must thwart the shapeshifters who have quietly replaced some of Earth’s most powerful and influential leaders.
The rest of the cast also includes Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, Dermot Mulroney e Christopher McDonald.
The show was written and produced by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr.Robot), while behind the camera they are present Thomas Bezucha (Big Eden) e But Selim.
Secret Invasion – consisting of 6 episodes – will be available on Disney+ from June 21st.
