Superman: Legacy, James Gunn will no longer refute spoilers: 'I'm too busy with the storyboard'

James Gunn he is currently working on the drafting of the storyboard of Superman: Legacy and in the last few hours has taken to Twitter to silence the rumors about the new DC film, stating that this will be the last time. Earlier this year, Peter Safran revealed a few details about the new film, saying it wouldn’t be a Superman origin story: “The plot will revolve around how Superman balances his ‘Kryptonian heritage’ and his ‘human upbringing’‘”.

I’m getting a lot of tweets about DC nonsense this morning“, Gunn tweeted. “I think it’s helpful to reiterate the general rule of not believing anything unless it comes from me or Peter (Safran). But, unless it’s particularly bad, I won’t bother denying the rumors every time.”

Gunn has been known to engage with fans on social media who are currently excited about the future of the DC Universe. The director explained the three reasons why he is withdrawing from refuting all the rumors circulating among the fans: “1) Some people make up lies to get my attention or get clicks and I don’t want to encourage this behavior.”

2) I read a hundred entries this morning. ONE of them is partly true. So I don’t want to be used as a tool to throw nonsense into the fire until a right one comes along.” Finally, James Gunn stated: “3) I’m creating scripts for Superman Legacy and I don’t have time! Good day!”
