Bailey wins the prize
The winner is – surprisingly – none of Nick, Winston and Maggie but Miranda Bailey. The commitment to defend the reproductive rights of people in states where they are at risk has not gone unnoticed. Nick decides to come forward with Meredith and give himself a real opportunity. Initially Nick mistakes Michael – Zola’s private teacher, who is also gay – as Meredith’s new partner, but she quickly clears up her misunderstanding. The turmoil on the flight to Boston made Nick realize that there is no point in living without risking it, and for this reason he has decided to throw his heart over the obstacle and discover – together with Meredith – what future awaits them.
Nick and Meredith get together
Meredith’s working reputation is jeopardized by a controversial theory – but also revolutionary, if it turns out to be correct – about the approach adopted up to that moment for the treatment of Alzheimer’s.
