I’m fine, excited, I’ve waited so long for this moment. Yes I won, it seems strange to say but I’m still metabolizing everything. At first there, in the studio, it seemed like a dream. It felt like a dream and I didn’t want to wake up. I didn’t believe it, still a bit at times I don’t believe it. After the episode we celebrated, then the next day I went home, I took the cup with me, I showed it to mum and dad, to my little brother. I put it in my bedroom and every time I looked at it I didn’t understand anything. It seemed strange.
Mattia explained to Toffanin that he changed after the ad experience Amici:
The strength of this program is to give the kids the opportunity to study everything that revolves around dance, in this case for a dancer. Studying more styles, which as we all know is very expensive anyway. The possibility of studying everything and taking lessons every day is something absurd. For me it has become a second family. I actually grew up there. I did my 18, my 19 in there with all of them. They are also the most important years when you are young. The very years of change. I think that as an experience what teaches you at this age you don’t learn outside. You don’t learn these notions in a short time easily. Maybe you learn them but with much more time. It is a school of life. It is a school that teaches you above all what work is, what sacrifice is. It prepares you for the outside. It prepares you to always be ready for any eventuality. To be in unpredictability always ready and know what to do. Then also managing everything by yourself, always waking up early in the morning, the discipline that is fundamental for me.
