The plot of the movie: Set in Maine in 1947, it tells the story of Andy Dufrense, employed as an assistant bank manager in Portland and sentenced to two life sentences in Shawshank prison, for the murder of his wife and a golf champion, her lover, of which he proclaims himself innocent.
