Alessandro Cecchi Paone, told Fanpage the reasons why he decided to withdraw from the Isola dei Famosi.
Interviewed by Fanpage, Alessandro Cecchi Paone he recounted the reason why he decided to retire from the Island of the Famousreturning to Italy together with her boyfriend Simone Antoliniforced to leave due to health problems.
Isola 2023, Alessandro Cecchi Paone: “They told us to separate in a terrible moment”
Cecchi Paone, during the penultimate appointment with Isola, he was quite controversial towards the Blasi when the presenter had announced that all the couples present in the reality show should have separated, participating in the adventure individually.
In this regard, the journalist explained:
“There was a misunderstanding which was later completely clarified. There were contractual agreements which envisaged the possibility that they would divide us, as did dozens of other possibilities. But it was Mediaset who sought us out in October, telling us they wanted to give a big signal in terms of leaving the trashy, putting modern and uplifting aspects in and, therefore, wanting us to the Island as a couple.I would never go back a third time to the Island alone because I had already done it.Faced with their request insistent to have us as a couple, I had made it clear that we would do it to represent the normality of gay couples. The choice to separate, legitimate but contradictory to the editorial line, came at a terrible moment. It was communicated to us while I was standing next to Simone in semi-intensive care. He had collapsed, had severe symptoms of low blood pressure, dehydration, muscle exhaustion, gustatory state, nocturnal bradycardia attacks.”
Cecchi Paone he then continued:
“I can’t add anything else because we made a privacy agreement about his health also because he’s fine now but the meaning is this: stay in the hospital, he full of wires and tubes, I who didn’t sleep three nights to assist him, and what Is that the news they’re giving you? When you exit, you’ll return to the game as individual contestants. Now wasn’t the time to tell us. We were going to end up having to vote each other out, the contradiction in terms of everything that had been decided. At that point we decided to go home. In that intercontinental communication there was confusion between agreements and contracts but everything is resolved. Indeed, I thank Isola, Canale5 and the doctors for helping him recover and for telling everyone that Melissa is his daughter.”
