Euphoria fans have been waiting for season 3 for over a year. Production is slated to begin in June, but the currently ongoing writers’ strike could delay those plans.

During an interview Jeremy O. Harris – producer of the TV series – invited the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav to find an agreement so that the strike can end and production can go ahead:
“I just want to tell David to come to us, a way out can be found. This is what I will say for the new season of Euphoria. David come to the table and let’s make a deal”.

Harris he continued by praising the lead actress Zendayawho will make her directorial debut next season:
“You can’t talk about Euphoria without talking about the importance Zendaya holds. She and Sam always go over every scene in the script. She asks questions not only as a lead actress but also as a producer. What I learn every time I go to that set is that I always have to put my best effort into my work”.

The American author and screenwriter also spoke about the co-protagonists, Sydney Sweeney e Maude Apatow:
“Sydney is a special young person. Maude himself. The way these young women present themselves and the way they work hard teaches me how to work better. It’s so inspiring”.

Since its debut in June 2019 Euphoria has earned 25 Emmy nominations and won 9 awards. Zendaya won Outstanding Lead Actress twice, with Colman Domingo which he won for best supporting actor.

The first two seasons of Euphoria are available on NOW.
