The Sea Out mania shows no sign of stopping: Rai fiction, in fact, has become a real phenomenon among the youngest. More than two months after the arrival of the third season, previewed on the Raiplay catalogue, this Italian TV series continues to be talked about everywhere. The story of a group of young inmates of a juvenile prison, the IPM, has managed to excite viewers of all ages and could soon win an international audience. The rights have been purchased from various foreign broadcasters in order to be able to make remakes of Sea Out. Meanwhile, the cast is enjoying the well-deserved success, after the unexpected exploit that the fiction obtained with its passage on the Netflix streaming platform. The flagship networkafter seeing the results that have been obtained from this fiction, has decided to renew the series for another three seasons. In addition, talks have begun of two other interesting projects: a film and a musical inspired by the history of the young people of the Ipm could arrive.
According to an indiscretion, the rights to transform have already been bought Sea Out in a stage play that could debut very soon.
According to the weekly, there would be behind this project Chithe well-known Neapolitan comedian and director Alessandro Siani. The newspaper launched a juicy indiscretion, letting it be known that the comedian would have bought the rights to Sea Out to bring the story that was so successful among the very young to the most important theaters. In the new issue of Chireleased this week, we read that this show could debut already this Christmas:
“The actor and director has acquired, together with an entrepreneur friend, the rights to bring to the theater the show born from the record-breaking TV series Mare Fuori. The debut is scheduled for Christmas”
It seems that this project could follow in the footsteps of another theater show that has won public acclaim in recent years. We are talking about Once upon a time… street urchins, the musical inspired by the story of the film by Nanni Loy and set in the prison of Nisida. Alessandro Siani would like to tell in an exciting musical inspired by Sea Out the sufferings of the group of prisoners, just like this stage show did in 2001. For the moment neither the creator of the series, nor Alessandro Siani intervened to confirm or deny this rumor. We will have to wait a little longer to have the official announcement and to know more details. May 4th Robert Sessa a tvblog had confirmed that he had received a proposal concerning a musical show by Sea Out and that he was evaluating whether the project was compatible with the TV series. He had said:
“We were approached by a private company that deals with musicals. A meeting is scheduled for these days together with Rai. We will evaluate and understand if it is compatible with the series. In the event, however, they will be things that will arrive in some time, not immediately”.
