The plot of the movie: From the windows of the carriages of the Simplon Orient Express you can see nothing but snow, an immense white expanse that floods the tracks and stops the train going to Calais. The illustrious passengers aboard the convoy, gathered in the luxurious dining car, learn that a heinous murder took place during the night: a distinguished American gentleman named Ratchett was stabbed in his compartment. Among those present, the suspicion arises that the killer, blocked by the snow, has never left the train and is still hiding among the travelers of the Orient Express. To orchestrate the interrogations, search the suitcases and cabins, gather clues and calm souls, the best detective on the square intervenes, by chance on board the same train, the charismatic Hercule Poirot. The plump Belgian investigator born from Christie’s pen listens to the reticent witnesses one after the other, nodding and twirling his mustache at every lie or attempt to deflect the investigation. His intuition never betrays him and the solution to the case is closer than it seems ….
