During the Sestri Levante Riviera International Film Festival we had the pleasure of chatting with an “old” acquaintance of ours, Paolo Ruffini, who came to present some scenes from I laugh because I love you, his new film with Nicola Nocella and many excellent appearances, out July 6th. Our exclusive interview.
After the touching documentary on Alzheimer’s Lost Mindthe theatrical tour with the boys of Up & Down and the movie Bad boy, Paul Ruffiniwho is one who never sleeps, has already prepared – in out July 6th – I laugh because I love you, a film that – starting from the title and the plot – represents him perfectly. Paolo, whom we have known for over 20 years, i.e. well before his fame, came to present some preview images at the Riviera International Film Festival of Sestri Levante, and above all to talk about it to the very large audience present, who welcomed him with great affection and interacted with him for an hour in which he didn’t shy away from any question, also showing (where he could…) the numerous film-themed tattoos that he had engraved as a great cinephile. In the afternoon, after the meeting, we met Paolo Ruffini for a quick chat about the film starring him (the sidekick) and Nicola Nocella (the romantic hero), is inspired by American comedies and has a truly remarkable cast between debutants and very famous names, of which we have spoken. Clarification: generally the interviewer does not appear in the field and in the opinion of the writer it is better this way, but having a single microphone available, we thought that in this way the answers were also more understandable, so we apologize to everyone for the involuntary invasion of field.
