We interviewed Artem Tkachuk, Pino o’ crazy from the Mare Fuori series. Here’s what the young actor told us, among the guests of the Riviera International Film Festival.
On the occasion of seventh edition of the Riviera International Film Festival we had occasion to intervistare Artem Tkachukbetween protagonists of the now famous series Sea Out. The young and talented actor plays Pino o’pazzo, locked up in the IPM of Nisida after killing his mother’s partner, guilty of making his beloved dog Tyson fight, in a clandestine fight.
Sea Outside: Artem Tkachuk is Pino o’Pazzo
Present since the first season. Pino is a violent boy and brawler. In first seasons we saw him being part of the Cyrus band and as such, enemy of Carmine and Philip. His indomitable nature soon led him to be an uncomfortable character even for his boss, Ciro, who decides to punish him – after Pino disrespected him – by killing his beloved dog. Pino loses his head e think about committing suicide. It comes luckily stopped by Philipwhich in addition to saving his life pushes him to leave Ricci’s gang and to “join” his group, made up of him, Carmine and Gianni.
Will be this change to save Pino from himself. In Carmine, Filippo e Giannithe young man find true friendship but also peace from the inner demons that unleash its most violent part. And it is thanks to them again that, in the third season, opens up to love for Kubra, a young inmate with a stormy past behind her. In her, Pino finally finds his soul mate and a lifeline that teaches him not only to love but also to manage jealousy and possession, the only feelings that Pino seems to have known since he was a child. Kubra also allows him to understand how important a mother’s affection is.
