No longer playing Peter Parker, Tom Holland plays a much darker character in this new Apple TV+ series.
Apple TV+ has streamed the trailer for The Crowded Roomseries starring Tom Holland in a far more dramatic role than his adventures as Peter Parker for Marvel Studios.
Created by Academy Award winner Akiva Goldsman, The Crowded Room follows Danny Sullivan (Holland), a boy who is arrested following his involvement in a New York City shooting in 1979. A gripping thriller told through a series of interviews with curious investigator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), the story of Danny’s life unravels, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him and the twists and turns that lead to a revelation that will change his life.
Featuring an ensemble cast led by Holland, the series also stars Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase and Lior Raz, as well as guest stars Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski and Zachary Golinger.
Kornél Mundruczó, known for Pieces of a Woman and White God, directed the pilot episode and other episodes of the series.

The Crowded Room is a co-production between Apple Studios and New Regency. Goldsman serves as an executive producer through his Weed Road Productions. The series is also produced by Holland, Alexandra Milchan for EMJAG Productions and Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer of New Regency.
The debut on Apple TV + is set for there June 9th next.
