Data from the second quarter reveal that Disney + has achieved a + 2% internationally, while losing 4 million subscribers in total.

However, the company currently has 231.3 million subscribers combined with Disney+, Disney+ Hotstar, Hulu and ESPN+ users.

In the same quarter, Netflix reached 232.5 million subscribers, thus remaining at the top of the ranking of streaming platforms.

Data relating to Disney-owned services is as follows:
Disney+: 104.9 million with a +1% compared to the end of the first quarter
Disney+ Hotstar: 52.9 million with a -8% compared to the previous period
Hulu: 48.2 million, slightly higher than 48 million in the first quarter
ESPN+: 25.3 million with a +2% compared to the previous period.

Internationally, Disney+ still recorded a 2% increase. The studio had losses of $659 million, down from $1 billion in the prior quarter. The company says Disney+ and ESPN+ helped bring about the improvement, thanks to higher subscription prices.
