I’m not denying anyone. Because the cast focuses on strong individuals who, however, must be complementary in a team: I have to compose a group before talking about individual names. We are pawns in the schedule, with Barbara there has never been anything personal, on the contrary we have seen each other, we chatted. It’s no secret that a few years ago I invited her to me as “Ballerina for a night”. She didn’t come due to lack of time. It was one of those times where she had 3,4 shows together…
Our work plan also includes a live tour this year, in which we look for talents even among those who are not dance professionals, as well as a casting part also dedicated to professionals to look for any new masters for Ballando: for example, Simone Casula, who danced with Rosanna Banfi in the latest edition, we met him last year at the Roman leg of the tour.

Selvaggia is part of the best TV jury, and I also say this with a kind of maternal pride that perhaps sees “every scarrafone is a bell’a sua mamma“. But I’ve shot many programs abroad and there the jurors have writers who write their lines, while our jurors are free to express themselves, with the only limitation of keeping in mind that they are on Rai Uno prime time. If they have caused discussion it will be for having said things of a certain thickness. Even if it’s true that, at times, in Italy many of us tend to make controversies or split into fan groups, even when it’s just cha cha cha steps.
