Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania it’s the new movie Marvel out February 15, 2023 in theaters. The first film of Phase 5 makes its debut from avenger smallest – sometimes – largest of all. The film is available for streaming on Disney Plus from 17 maggio 2023.

The superheroes Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures in the film Ant-Man e The Wasp: Quantumania. Together with the parents of Hope, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) e Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Kingdom Quantico, to interact with strange new creatures and embark on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

The story of Scott Lang and his family has remained dormant since Avengers: Endgame, the character of Ant-Man did not appear in Phase 4, only mentioned by Ms. Marvel in the first episode of the series, when the girl says to listen to her podcast.
In the movie Marvel Studios Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Scott e Hope they continue to live their lives as an engaged, superhero couple. The word Peyton Reed, also director of the two previous films. The stakes are high, she says Reed, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania lays the groundwork for several films to follow. “Creating the Quantum Realm is the ultimate act of creation. The idea is that our protagonists go deeper into the Quantum Realm than we’ve seen in previous films. In addition to creating the look of these cities and civilizations, we had to create an internal logic and a story, as well as populate these places with a wide variety of creatures, living beings and structures.

The film has no time to waste and within minutes we find ourselves in the remote depths of the subatomic world. The relationship between Scott e Cassie has always been a staple in the films of Ant-Man. Throughout the film the duo Paul Rudd e Kathryn Newton it works in some moments, but the problem lies in the script which drops in intensity and pace in these two hours and five minutes. Secrets between family members and the constant unsaid are the protagonists throughout the first half of the film, where we discover a Quantum Realm entirely new.
New peoples, creatures, customs, languages and customs of beings who owe a great deal to the world of Dune, Star Wars o Mad Max. On a visual level, everything is done much better than some visual effects seen in other products Marvel (you see She-Hulk), but they are not enough to make Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania the best opening for the Phase 5. The massive design work of the Quantum Realm it is not valued enough by a purely functional direction, nor by a photography that is perhaps too dark and desaturated.
Kang the Conqueror

If some previous films have been criticized for their length, in this case a few more minutes would not have been bad. We could have known more about the peoples and creatures of the subatomic world. Fascinating beings with too much interpretation family friendly which decays in the cauldron of classic criticism of the world Disney.
Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania, a blend of pop culture
