In The Flash, Michael Keaton reprises the role of Batman almost 30 years after the last time and to please his nephew he asked to be able to have a photo in the batcave.
The Flash is the awaited cinecomic weblog DC directed by Andy Muschietti and starring Ezra Miller in the role of Barry Allen/The Flash and which will see the return of Michael Keaton in the role of Batman, almost 30 years since his last appearance as Bat Man and Gotham vigilante.

The film premiered at CinemaCon of Las Vegas, where he was applauded as “best DC movie ever” and will also arrive in Italian preview at the Comicon in Naples, on Monday 1 May. During a Q&A with Moss and the cast to CinemaCondirector and producer Barbara Muschietti shared a story with fans on Michael Keaton and his return as Batman, 30 years after the Tim Burton film in which he starred.
Barbara Muschietti he recounted that last time Keaton dressed the Bat Man suit, his son Sean Douglas was just a child, while now he is a grown man with a family and children. The director revealed that the first time the actor donned the Batman suit again, he showed no emotion, but it was clear he was excited to be back in the Batcave after nearly 30 years:
“When he (Michael) arrived on set the Batcave was already finished and everything was ready. He stood there with his eyes open for a while. I didn’t want to interrupt him, I just wanted him to take his time. Who knows what was going on? And it was funny, because at one point, during a scene where he was in the middle of filming, costume and all, he’s like, ‘Can you take a picture of me? It’s for my little nephew.’ That was one of those moments. in which he hinted at how exciting it was for him.”
After several slippages and the danger of not seeing it on the big screen at all, The Flash will hit theaters on June 15, 2023.
