Prime Video has announced that it has ordered two seasons of Stara new serie in eight episodes from Emmy Award-winning creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, writers of Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, here as writers, directors and executive producers. In the cast the Emmy-winning actor Luke KirbyCamille Cottin, Simon Callow, Lou de Laage, Gideon Glick, and David Alvarez. Étoile will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Set in New York City and Paris, Star follows the dancers and artistic staff of two world-famous companies who, in an ambitious bet, will trade their most talented students to save their historic institutions.
The fifth and final season of the latest acclaimed series created by Sherman-Palladino and Palladino, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, premiered with three episodes on Prime Video on Friday, April 14. New episodes will be available every week until the finale on May 26th.
