After traveling on the Orient Express and sailing on the Nile, Kenneth Branagh’s Hercule Poirot and his mustache land in Venice, where they will have to deal with an almost horror story. At least according to this first Italian teaser trailer of Murder in Venice.

This new film directed by and starring English, in fact, is based on “Poirot and the Massacre of the Innocents”novel published by Agatha Christie only in 1969, the plot of which however was transplanted from the English village of Woodleigh Common, where it takes place in the book, to the streets and bridges of splendid Venice.
Below you can see the first Italian teaser trailer of Murder in Venice, which seems to herald a story decidedly closer to those of a horror (albeit classic) than to the traditional whodunit, and which will debut in Italian cinemas in September. A date and a setting that could suggest a passage of the film to Venice Film Festivalwho knows.
As with the two films that preceded it, Murder in Venice also has an all-star cast: the new Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, Tina Fey, Riccardo Scamarcio, Kelly Reilly, Jamie Dorman, Jude Hill, Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Ali Khan and Emma Laird.
