The Star Trek on Paramount+ Twitter profile just released the new trailer of the final episode of the series Star Trek: Picard, finally available in the next few hours after months of waiting. The promo reveals a number of details relating to the conclusion of the story, which began more than 30 years ago with The Next Generation.
According to reports from Deadline, the third season is “A desperate message from a long lost friend draws Starfleet legend Admiral Jean-Luc Picard on the most daring mission of his life, forcing him to recruit allies spanning generations old and new. This final adventure sets him on a collision course with the legacy of his past and explosive new revelations that will change the fate of the Federation forever.“.
Patrick Stewart reprises his role as Jean-Luc Picard in this third season of Star Trek and alongside him will be LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd. Instead, Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Stewart himself, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski and Dylan Massin are the executive producers of the third season and Terry Matalas is the showrunner.
The synopsis for the latest installment of Star Trek: Picard, titled The Last Generation, reads: “Jean-Luc Picard and several generations of crew, old and new, fight together to save the galaxy from the greatest threat they have ever faced as the Star Trek: The Next Generation saga comes to a thrilling, epic, conclusion.”
