The universe of Mare Fuori is expanding: in addition to three more seasons and various remakes, a film and a musical will be produced
The narrative universe of Sea Outthe television series Made in Italy which has attracted the attention of half the world, it expands: some hours ago Ivan Silvestrinidirector of the show, has in fact shared a post on Instagram announcing that a musical and a film will also be made. Details about the project are not yet known, but as far as the film is concerned, it seems that it will be a spin-off on the young inmates of the juvenile prison in Naples. In addition to fourth season (which starts filming next month) and a quinto e sixth chapteralready confirmed by screenwriter Cristiana Farina, it therefore seems that the production of Sea Out will continue: fans will be able to follow the vicissitudes of the beloved protagonists of the series for a while longer (despite the abandonment of Carolina Crescentini, Nicolas Maupas, Valentina Romani and others).
A “Made in Italy” teen drama that is breaking record after record
The TV series of the moment has begun to grind record after record since the third season was released on streaming, at the beginning of February 2023: the acclaimed teen drama has in fact quickly become the most viewed content in the history of the online streaming platform RaiPlay. Recently, moreover, the beloved actor Massimiliano Caiazzo (the one who gave life to Carmine Di Salvo, one of the show’s main characters) won a Ciak D’Oro for his performance in the series. L’yet another record obtained by the popular Rai showthen, dates back to a few days ago: theiconic acronym O’ Mar Forwritten by Stefano Lentini and sung by Matteo Paolillo (the actor who plays Edoardo Conte), in fact won the platinum recordwith more than 35 million streams overall (source: Ansa).
Various remakes set in other countries of the world are also on the way: Spain, France, Germany and (probably) the United States
As for its distribution, the third season will also land on the online streaming giant Netflix starting next September. Apparently, however, Sea Out it doesn’t stop there: the acclaimed teen drama will become a franchise and will move from sunny Naples to land in Spainin France e in Germaniaup to, probably, in Nord America (as was recently announced). Reading on the web, the most probable settings will be Cadiz, Marseille and Hamburg.
